Christian De BoeckAdministrador del grupo The
history that has been totally ignored, swept under the carpet or was
unknown to amateur "historians" of the breed until now is that of our
Belgian smugglers and the thousands of dogs they employed to smuggle
contraband, mainly over the Franco-Belgian
border. The number of dogs they employed at any given time was far
larger than the number of dogs employed by the shepherds of the time.
There was a bounty on these dogs and thousands were killed by customs
officers, who themselves used dogs to counter the smugglers. This group
is the first place where that history has also been covered in depth and
documented for the first time
